Online Ratings
I checked online for reviews and all but one person gave it a rating above one star (out of five). The problems were the same as mine - split seams, failed components and lousy customer service.
I Ain't Done Yet
After three weeks of use, the new spa quit working. There was no power to the control panel. I tried to reset using the button on the plug module. No luck. I changed the extension cord for a heavier one. Still didn't work. I checked all the connections. They were tight. I checked the fuse box. No bad fuses.
I emailed their customer service department. The email was kicked back as non-working.
Today I left a message on their answering machine.

Don't Buy One!
Two and a half years ago my wife bought am M-Spa portable spa. We bought it in the winter so we put it storage. When we set it up in April 2010 it worked fine for three weeks. Then a seam on the outside split and the air went out.
I called M-Spa and told Cindy Bagshaw the situation and she said she'd send me the warranty paperwork, and for me to send it in. I did as she requested and spent $84 in shipping charges.
After not hearing from her for a while, I called Cindy for the status for my pool. She said it was out of warranty and could do nothing about it. I argued this but got nowhere. I then asked her to send the spa back and I would fix it myself. Some of my correspondence with her was through email.
Several weeks later and no spa. I called Cindy and asked where it was. She was quite unfriendly and claimed she didn't know what I was talking about. I went through the story again and she said they never got the spa to begin with. I sent her a copy of the shipping record I found on the UPS website as well as the receipt showing that it was recieved. It had the name of the person who signed for it.
After not hearing from Cindy for a couploe weeks, I called again and she gave me a hard time, claiming this time that I sent it to the wrong place even though I had sent it to the address indicated on the warranty form. I reiterated that I wanted her to send my spa back and I would fix it myself. She again claimed they never received it and she could do nothing about it.
I kept calling and emailing her until she relented and said she would send a new spa, but that there would be no warranty on it. I agreed and got a new spa - six months after the problem began.
Note that I found Ms Bagshaw to be arrogant, confrontational and thoroughly unprofessional.
